CEHD Service Project

Highlanders Give Back!             $375 Raised

Help us empower local teachers with a classroom supply kit!

During Homecoming, the College of Education and Human Development will host a service project to support local teachers in Radford City. All alumni are invited to participate in packing classroom supply kits in the Patricia Langford Roughton Teaching Resources Center on Friday, September 30 from 2:30-4 p.m.

Through this service project, we will provide classroom supply kits to teachers at McHarg Elementary School and Belle Heth Elementary School. In addition to attending this event, all alumni are welcome to bring donations of Clorox wipes, tissues, Expo dry erase markers, and sharpies and drop them off at the Patricia Langford Roughton Teaching Resources Center during Homecoming weekend. You can also support this initiative by making a donation! A gift of any amount will help fill these care packages and tangibly encourage local teachers.

Our goal is to raise $1,000 for this project by Friday, September 23 to assist in filling these boxes.

Thank you for supporting this service project!
