The Highlander Family Fund provides critical support to Radford University students and ensures they have the resources necessary for success in and out of the classroom.

The Highlander Family Fund has provided financial support to many different programs on campus. Financial support from the Highlander Family Fund has enabled the division of Student Affairs to:

• Provide support for more than 300 student employees by offering programming that highlights the value of their on-campus employment experience in resume-building and post-graduate application opportunities 
• Enhance our Esports program by providing educational opportunities that extend from group and team play to the exploration of simulation experiences for our academic programs
• Develop and increase programming and mentorship opportunities for our first-generation students through the Center for Opportunity and Social Mobility, our First Gen campus hub
• Boost our Spring Traditions Week by providing increased support for the student-selected Spring Concert and explore new opportunities to build further affinity to Radford and our broad campus community
• Increase the impact of the Tartan Tails Dog Therapy program by adding on-campus teams at both the main campus in Radford and at Radford University Carilion (RUC) in Roanoke, who, once certified later this semester, will expand opportunities to utilize our therapy dogs in a wide variety of campus environments
